My name is Rachel Ann Ai-Min Cheong—and that’s exactly where my branding comes from!
Throughout my journey in pursuing a BFA, I always knew my brand was going to be built around my name. But with Rachel being such a common name, I realized it wouldn’t be ideal or memorable enough on its own.
That’s when I thought: why not make my parents proud and use my Mandarin name instead? Ai-Min is a name they put so much love and thought into, and using it feels like carrying a part of them with me into every design I create.

One of the most defining parts of my time at Fresno State has been my internship with the DXI (Digital Transformation and Innovation) team. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment taught me how to manage multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines without compromising on creativity.
A highlight of my experience was contributing significantly to the branding of AI Immersion Day, an event held on March 20, 2025, where I helped design visuals seen by hundreds of attendees. I also supported the development of Bulldog Genie, Fresno State’s GenAI-powered chatbot designed to assist students with campus-related needs. Being part of projects that combine design, technology, and student impact has been incredibly rewarding and has helped shape the kind of designer I’m becoming.

As I get ready to graduate this May with a BFA in Graphic Design, I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity that’s brought me here—from the all-nighters and critiques to the collaborations and creative breakthroughs.
Each step has reinforced my passion for building experiences that not only look good but feel good to use.
